Lona Gaikis is a writer and blogger on art, culture and philosophy in Vienna. She is active as a curator and engaged with sub- and club cultures in music. In 2009, she founded the project and platform czirp czirp – experimental and sonic arts. Oscillating between experimental formats, dance music as well as sound art, this platform has showcased artists such as Aïsha Devi (CH), Islaja (FIN), Lucas Abela (AU) and Steve Roden (USA) i.a.
